White Malanga, or Yautia Blanca, is a starchy root with a hairy, rough-like skin with pure white flesh. It is often used as a potato or yam substitute. It can either be baked, cooked, mashed or however your creativity leads. It has tastes similar to yuca or potato but with an earthy, nut-like flavor.
